Subscribe By the Deadline & You Can Also Vote – Results Will Be Released to the Public
We finally got the tech bugs worked out and are able to resume our monthly 2020 Democratic Presidential Nomination Straw Poll. On this month’s ballot are every candidate who meets the threshold of having at least a one percent chance to be nominee according to Organize & Win’s math: that’s Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, Pete Buttigieg, Beto O’Rourke, Amy Klobuchar, Kirsten Gillibrand, Cory Booker, Julian Castro & a new addition to our straw poll options, Montana Governor Steve Bullock, as well as options for “someone else” and “I don’t have a preference yet.”
And if that dish in the photo up above looks good to you, you’re going to enjoy the new feature, “Al’s Kitchen,” we’re about to unveil, where I will share photos and notes on my culinary inventions, with easy-to-follow recipes for subscribers: In this case Savory Curried Winter Squash Pancakes (with scallion, garlic, ginger, curry, cardamom & turmeric, topped with mini banana slices, yogurt, New England maple syrup & dark chocolate shavings).
Now, back to the straw poll! Subscribers may also use the backstage access area to submit comments with the reasons you support one or another candidate (remember to be positive on your own candidate and not negative on the others) and share any other interesting observations on how the contest is evolving. All of that – and the balloting itself – requires your Backstage Access Pass (although the results of the straw poll among the organizers, small donors and volunteers who determine the nomination every four years, once completed, will be shared with the general public here at Organize & Win).
Please excuse the scaffolding, the buckets of paint lying around and other signs of our remodeling and construction. We’ve recently moved to a new and faster server and are are now getting everything ship-shape for the onslaught of a full-blown US presidential campaign!
The voting happens after the fold. See you backstage!
